Seems like everyone has an opinion, they should do this and we should do that but nothing is being done and life goes on. They are the authorities, the government.
But the government is the people and the people the government. Despite what most people think the power to get things done still rest with the people. Yes we have representatives, "leaders" but the power has and will always be with the people. The people always outnumber the representatives
It is when the people give all their power to representatives because of an inability to form one united front that they become powerless. Very few of the representatives are dying. Change is inevitable, something must be done, it must start somewhere. Lets start here. .
This is not a joke or a conversation piece this is real. Real people are dying out there and in a long drawn out sort of way when you do nothing but talk seem to attract more of the same. Maybe if we just stopped talking about it, it will go away. Nobody believes that but the power of attraction says you attract what you think about. Are we attracting all this crap, if we are lets stop.
Lets reverse the process and instead of talking and thinking about it, lets act to reduce it. Really act, go out on a limb use your mouse and fingers. It really just like voting, putting your finger in the red ink and saying I AM AGAINST THE CRIME AND LAWLESSNESS IN MY COUNTRY. Every finger counts.

A couple of national media outlets in television and radio has given their implicit endorsement of the Brother's Keeper Project. Soon you will see a short clip on local TV entitled "The Brother's Keeper Minute". This will be supplemented by a weekly radio programme focusing on issues related to errant behaviour and crime in Trinidad and Tobago. If you are a member of Brother's Keeper you will be advised of the times for the programmes. If not a member you can check back here to learn when and on what channels you can listen to or view these programmes.
OK, now that you know what Brother's Keeper Project is all about we would like to hear from you. What do you think? Can you see the possibilities?
If you have any ideas on improving the process or anything that you think would be useful we will sincerely appreciate it. This first post is just so that you can leave your feedback here. Anything you wish to add will be welcomed. You are welcome to say that it is a stupid idea if you think so but if you do please tell us what you think is stupid about it and how we can improve the process.
